Learning with Tiggly Counts

Tiggly is a new brand of learning apps and toys. They work together so that your child can learn math while playing fun games. I was sent the Tiggly Counts tools to try with my kids. I have to be honest, this was a BIG BIG hit. It is an interactive technology based game but it’s very hands on. There are 5 pieces and basically they are magnetized so the kids can add or subtract.

The first game we played was Tiggly Chef, which is now available for download on the App store. In this fun app, kids have to follow the instructions and pick the right ingredients to make the recipe. Kids also have the choice to make their own recipes. I am not kidding when I tell you that after a couple of days my 2.5yr old was adding 2+1 and 3+1 and so on. I was beyond impress with this app. It is so easy to use and it really kept the kids entertained for a long time!

We played Tiggly Cardtoons and this was fun storytelling while learning math. I definitely think this works great for tots who are learning numbers and colors. It keeps it interesting and fun, as it is very interactive. My favorite game was Tiggly Addventure. This is more challenging, good for kids that are 4 and older. They have to place the counting toys in the space, so that the character can advance, but they have to add in order to do it correctly.

Overall this is a GREAT learning tool. I am a fan of anything that is colorful, that keeps kids engage, but also teaches them something good at the same time. I recommend this toy wholeheartedly. It’s a great price of $29.99 and the Apps are free. I do have to mention that you need an iPad 2 or newer to use it. It is only available for iPad. They also have another game called Tiggly Shapes. Definitely check them out, this is going to be a hot item for the Holidays and makes a perfect gift. You can find more information on their website.

DISCLAIMER: I received the Tiggly Counts tools for the purpose of the review. As usual all opinions and pictures are all my own.
