I recently received the Go! Go! Smart Animals Forest Adventure Playset to review. I was excited because we are familiar with the VTech and Go! Go! Smart brand. I can’t tell you how quickly my kids put that thing together and immediately started enjoying it. There are so many things to like about this toy. The first and most important is the educational value, because of this reason I call it more a tool than a toy. The set comes with the tree, the panda SmartPoint animal, the tracks and three shapes. It also has two swings. I was intimidated by the amount of pieces but the design is so simple that the kids were the ones that put it together except for one of the swings and the ramp. It comes ready to turn on and play!
So what can your kids learn from this tool you ask? The first thing to me is colors! This play set is super colorful. It will definitely grab their attention and encourage exploration. The animals say different things according to their location, so there will always be something new to discover. There are six SmartPoints locations where the panda will sing or say different things like “lets go play” and “I like this place”. It’s also great because you can purchase other SmartPoint animals and use them in the tree house with no problem and you can also use the panda in other ones.
This play set also helps with dexterity by providing the shapes, where the kids have to match in the house. The shapes help little hands practice where things go as well as the shapes themselves (triangle, circle & square). You can also count with the playset and learn patterns. Of all the great things of this playset what I like the best is that it can connect to other Go!Go! Smart Animals playsets as well as Go! Go! Smart Wheels playsets. We own 2 of them so it’s awesome that I can connect all of them and make a zoo-race track.
