I was a little skeptical reviewing this item because it’s John Deere and didn’t know if they would like it. But of course, as soon as they saw it had lights they went crazy asking me to open it.

The truck comes with a driver, a gas tank and a wrench. Like I mentioned the lights go in and it makes truck noises, which the kids really enjoyed. I think this could be an awesome outside toy, BUT I didn’t let them get it dirty. I think if it gets dirty then we have to wet it to clean it? So figured I wouldn’t go to through the trouble. The truck is available this fall at John Deere website and Toys R Us for $29.99. It uses 3 AAA batteries and it’s recommended for ages 3 and up. I did enjoy seeing the kids play with this truck. As a mom and being honest the only thing I didn’t like is that at 3, some children are still putting things in their mouths and the little wrench could be a choking hazard if kids are not supervised. I took the wrench away the minute I saw my second one try to put it in his mouth! If your kid is into trucks this is sure to be a hit. It has lights, it has accessories, it’s a cool truck. It would make a good addition to any holiday.
