You all know we are big fans of Tiggly Shapes and Tiggly Counts! You can imagine my excited when I was sent the new Tiggly Words. This educational toy/app is great for kids who are learning to spell and learning their ABC’s. In the box you get the 5 vowels and codes to download the three apps as well as a carry pouch and a learning journey.

The first app we downloaded was Tiggly Tales. We did have some problems with the Apple Store but used the Tiggly customer service chat and the problem was solved. The app is self-explanatory. You get 2 letters and the child has to choose which vowel goes in the middle to make a word. The app is perfect for little hands to manage and follow. Every time they make a word the work they make comes to life. So if they spelled BUG, a bunch of little bugs appear on the screen! The other apps are Tiggly Doctor and Tiggly Submarine (our second favorite!).

Tiggly Words is made for 4-8 year olds but I found that my 3.5 yr old enjoyed it the most. He is pretty excited to play with the game everyday and now started spelling some words when he seems them in books. You can’t beat that is also $29.99, this includes the 5 toy letters and 3 apps. If you know anything about educational toys and even apps is that they are pricey. These will give you continuous educational play for a very long time. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about these toys. I am happy to own all of them and we love them and my kids use them every single day.

Be advise, that these Tiggly toys and apps work with iPad 2 or newer models. If you have an iPad one or Android tablet these will not work. We actually ended up buying a used iPad 2 just so they kids could play with these apps.
