Sometimes we want to make everything from scratch because we want the healthiest food for our kids. There is one company who is committed to making healthy, tasty, kid friendly frozen meals. Yeap, that is what the folks’ over at Kidfresh are doing!

I know you’re probably skeptical, thinking there’s no way frozen food is healthy or taste good. Well, Kidfresh is special for a lot of reasons but mainly, the best one in my opinion, is that it has vegetables.

This is important in our home because my oldest is very picky, so we’re always trying to give him extra nutrition from anywhere possible. He loves chicken nuggets and guess what? Kidfresh has chicken nuggets that have onions and cauliflower and my son LOVES them. Not kidding he eats 5 and asks for more.

There are other characteristics that make this brand special like all natural, non-GMO ingredients. The food is very tasty, so the kids do like it.

I did a focus group for this brand and didn’t try it until recently and I was really surprised by my kids reactions, they enjoyed the food and didn’t even notice that they were eating veggies in their pizza. If there is one complain I have is that the box of chicken nuggets it’s kind of small, so if you have multiple kids like me you’ll need two boxes. And I wish there was more variety. So far we’ve tried the chicken nuggets, the pizza and the mac n cheese.

The best part is that they are becoming more available. Stores like Whole Foods and Target carry the items. Definitely give them a try.
