Our Radiator Springs DisneySide Celebration!!

I can’t lie when I got the email we were chosen to host a DisneySide @Home Celebration I was screamed like a little girl! I was soo excited even more when I saw the there we got was Cars. Of course the boys were beyond excited since Cars is their favorite Disney movie. We decided to do two parties because-WHY NOT?

Our first party took place the weekend before Valentine’s Day. We had a playdate with some of our closest buddies. I used all of the goodies in our party box and also mixed in some Pinterest finds. For food we had tires! Flat-white wall tires and full regular tires. We also had Brother’s-All-Naturals Cars Fruit Crisps. The kids love the apple crisp because they feel they are eating potato chips but it’s much healthier. I always like to have fresh fruit when we entertain, so we had Crunch Pak Dipperz. It worked out because my sons favorite color is red and so is McQueen so it was part of one of the games we played. We also had some Planes Fire and Rescue AquaBall Drinks for the kids and some Twinnings Herbal Teas and blueberry muffins. For the second party we decided to make Mickey cake.

Throwing these parties was so much fun. We played pin the mouth on Mickey, find the Cars characters and search for all red items (red was the color of the day) and these were perfect game for pre-schoolers and toddlers which were the majority of the kids that attended our celebrations.

To decorate we used everything in the party box sent to us. Except we used some of the items in a different way. I used the paper placemats as posters on the wall, but the coolest creation was my Mater banner. I used the paper plates, checker duck tape and staples. It worked out so awesome. And to decorate the stand of our cake we took the stickers and put them in the checker banner, the kids actually took care of this part.

This was a great party. Thanks to Disney for allowing me to be a kid and enjoy celebrating with my kids just the love for Disney and Cars! If you want to host your own DisneySide celebration head on over to Pinterest for a ton of ideas!
