Taking care of MOM.

Most of the time we are a mess. Meaning mom. We take care of our children and find little time for ourselves. I try really hard, to at least look presentable when I leave the house. I rarely wear anything other than jeans but try to mix it up with cute flats and blouses. It is hard to find time for hair or makeup. But taking care of our appearance is important because it helps to lift our spirit, therefore making us feel better about everything. So, I decided to start a little challenge. I call it 5 DAY FAB. It’s how to look fabulous in 5 days. Without spending any money!

5 DAY FAB.

DAY 1: Change something about your outfit. I switched my yoga pants for jeans. If you wear a hoodie try to switch it for a sweater. You can also try a cute pair of flats. If you are not going to the gym, at the gym or leaving the gym, you should avoid gym clothes!

DAY 2: Do something with your hair. I don’t brush my hair every day. I just put it in a messy bun (which turned out to be the hairstyle of NYFW!!). But I’ve been trying to do simple things like a braid or a nice headband.

DAY 3: Get yourself a nice handbag. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but if you have a bag you love, it can change how you look completely. I still carry a diaper bag, so I spend on diaper bags I love, that I would probably continue to wear as handbags, after I’m done carrying diapers.

DAY 4: Get some tinted moisturizer or a BB cream, mascara and lipgloss. These are basics.

DAY 5: Change your attitude. Looking fabulous is nothing compared to feeling fabulous!!! Be confident in yourself! You are your kids’ first super hero, their first beauty queen and their first love. Taking care of yourself is a priority.

Let me know how it goes!!
